We are pleased to update the Beer Trail for the first SDS meet of the season at Worcester. Please check back for further updates - although note that, for most cases, only Saturday and Bank Holiday matches will be included.
Our flagship Match Sponsorship has again been booked for the first home league game on a Saturday in September, which this season is Workington on 3rd September. All paid up members for the 2011-12 season are eligible to attend for just £20 adults and £15 concessions. It's been a long time coming, but we hope it's worth the wait! The latest issue of SDS Phoenix (SDS86) should be reaching members and subscribers imminently. Also, a reminder that we will not be selling the SDS Phoenix newsletter on matchdays, but individual issues can be ordered via Ebay where available, or for £1.80 (including P&P) via the usual address.
Along with the latest issue is included a membership renewal/application form for the coming season. Since last season was a relatively quiet one for the SDS, we are offering all current members the option to renew at half price - just cross out the rates shown on the enclosed form if this applies.
However, there's no need to worry if you're not currently a member or subscriber; our full rates remain at 20th Century prices! Membership (or a subscription to SDS Phoenix only, if you prefer not to become a Shaymen Down South Member) is still £8 for adults, £10 for families or groups (up to 3 adults or 2 adults/4 children at the same address) or £14 for overseas members.
We also invite you to join the SDS Goal-O-Meter and Sponsor Owt schemes, which we hope (like Halifax Town) will rise once more from the ashes to provide the club with a significant financial boost when needed.
