SDS 'Sponsor Owt' 2007-08!

Does exactly what it says on the tin! If you don't like the idea of sponsoring goals, you can still get in on the fundraising act - simply think up your own idea and send it in to us. Anything vaguely Town related (that isn't rude!) will be accepted, have a look below to see what is currently being sponsored. You can join at any time during the season, just tell us when you would like your sponsorship to start. Many thanks to the supporters below for their inventive sponsorships!

Already this season, Sponsor Owt has raised over £100 (as at 23/10/07) but keep the ideas flowing! Last season's sponsors can be seen here.

1) Chris Lister - £5 for every time Halifax Town score a penalty

2) Chris Lister - £5 for every time the Halifax Town keeper saves a penalty

3) Roger Bottomley - £5 for every hat-trick scored by a Halifax Town player

4) Matthew Wright - £1 for every point gained from behind in the Conference this season

5) Charlie Adamson - £1 for every away point Town gain south of Watford

6) Clive Firth - £20 for every Andy Campbell Hat-Trick

7) Clive Firth - £2 for every home Blue Square Premier clean sheet kept by the Shaymen

8) Andy Connell - £1.50 per clean sheet, including cup games

9) Michael Mosselmans - £1 for every point more than Woking Halifax have at the end of the season

10) Michael Mosselmans - £1 for every Conference match weekend this season in which Halifax score more goals than Chelsea (weekends when both Halifax and Chelsea have a game)

11) David Marney - £5 for each game attended by all the SMS

12) Lawrence Short - £5 for any Town player to score a hat-trick in any competition this season

13) Michaela Short - 50p for every penalty scored by Town and 50p for every penalty Town save

14) Roger Bottomley - £150 to SDS at the end of the season - indeed, every season (!) - if all future message board entries on both sites are 'constructive, objective, supportive and positive in their individual content'

15) Martin Bishop - £5 for every time Town win away this season

16) Laurie - 50p for any game where a Town player does NOT get booked (not counting friendlies or Setanta Shield)

17) Stuart Jeffreys - £5 for every penalty Town get
