SDS Fundraising

The SDS Goal-O-Meter continues to be the single biggest fundraiser for the SDS and, in turn, Halifax Town. See below for details of how to join. If the idea of sponsoring just goals doesn't suit you, then why not choose your own sponsorship? Last year several members and subscribers thought up new ways to support Town's efforts (some more successfully than others!) so just tell us what you'd like to sponsor and for how much, and we'll put it on the website and in the fanzine. Last season's sponsorships for Sponsor Owt can be found here.

We have also recently re-evaluated our policy on donations to the club. To see the Shaymen Down South funds policy, please click here or see the Forms at the bottom of this page for further details. Remember that all SDS members are able to have their say in how the organisation spends the money that is generated from sponsorships etc. or in forming any new changes to this policy.

NEW MERCHANDISE FORM

HAVE A LOOK AT our new badges! The latest range of badges, fridge magnets and keyrings (from August 2006 to February 2008) is available to order on one handy form. To order, please print out and post the updated merchandise form to the usual SDS address, or collect from Simon Denton at any Town match. Please add 60p P&P to your order, unless the total value is over £5.

SDS GOAL-O-METER

The highly successful Goal-O-Meter is again likely to be the mainstay of the SDS fundraising campaign for 2008-09, and we really hope to get as many people involved as possible. Sponsorship of all Town's goals in senior competitions starts from just 25p - not a big price to pay for a successful season, we hope! - and your name will be included in all SDS fanzines for the season. Click on the link above for details and the sponsorship form, which can be printed out and sent to the usual SDS address.

SPONSOR OWT

The Sponsor Owt sceme is going from strength to strength this year! After raising over £200 last season, we hope to improve on that this time around. With more sponsors we seem to have more obscure ideas for sponsorship - but that's what we like to see!

There is still time to join either the Goal-O-Meter or Sponsor Owt - you can join any time during the season and if you're feeling generous you can even back-date your sponsorship to the start of the season! All your support is gratefully received and you will get your sponsorship acknowledged both on this website and in the SDS fanzines.

SDS MERCHANDISE

SDS Merchandise sales will also continue. Samples of badges, old and new can be seen by following the link above, and are available for purchase via mail order at the usual SDS address or in person from Simon Denton at Town matches. Some fridge magnets and keyrings are still also available. Back issues of the fanzines are also available by mail order, click here for details.

You may also have noticed that SDS have started a line in great quality blue and white t-shirts in five designs, click through the link above to the Merchandise page to see them. The new t-shirts went on sale in mid-April at the Shay but if you missed out they will soon be available to buy via mail order, please check back later for further details.
