Remember that all SDS members are able to have their say in how the organisation spends the money that is generated from sponsorships etc. or in forming any new changes to this policy.
MEMBERSHIP/SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS 2011-12
TO JOIN THE SDS or subscribe to the newsletter, please print out our membership application form and post it to the usual SDS address.
Memberships for 2011-12 will run from July 1st 2011 to June 30th 2012. We cannot guarantee the number of issues of the newsletter which will be produced, as this depends on how much copy we receive, but our nominal 'target' remains 6 issues per year. Many thanks for all your support.The highly successful Goal-O-Meter is again likely to be the mainstay of the SDS fundraising campaign for 2011-12, and we really hope to get as many people involved as possible. If you want to join the Goal-O-Meter at the same time as your renewal, simply fill in the bottom part of the SDS Membership/Subscription form. As ever, we are very grateful for your support.
The Sponsor Owt scheme is also still alive and well. After raising over £150 last season, we hope to improve on that this time around. With more sponsors we seem to have more obscure ideas for sponsorship - but that's what we like to see!
There is still time to join either the Goal-O-Meter or Sponsor Owt - you can join any time during the season and if you're feeling generous you can even back-date your sponsorship to the start of the season! All your support is gratefully received and you will get your sponsorship acknowledged both on this website and in the SDS newsletters.
SDS MERCHANDISE
SDS Merchandise sales will also continue. Samples of badges, old and new can be seen by following the link above, and are available for purchase via mail order at the usual SDS address or in person from Simon Denton at Town matches. Some fridge magnets and keyrings are still also available. Back issues of the fanzines are also available by mail order, click here for details.
You may also have noticed that SDS have started a line in great quality blue and white t-shirts in five designs, click through the link above to the Merchandise page to see them. The new t-shirts went on sale in mid-April at the Shay but if you missed out they will soon be available to buy via mail order, please check back later for further details.
